In order to guarantee translations of impeccable quality and enable us to monitor our service providers, Into-Nations has a strict recruitment procedure. In translation, experience is all-important, which is why we make a point of only working with seasoned translators. Our translators are recruited by recommendation or further to application. They are short-listed on the basis of their application, qualifications (masters level 1 or 2 in translation or extensive linguistic experience and specialisation in a given field) and needs. They then undergo a series of tests. The selected translators are then subject to a trial period during which their work is systematically checked, annotated and validated. All of our translators must be capable of turning in work of “deliverable” quality and they are expected to raise any doubts as to terminology or other translation problems spontaneously.
