Before the conference :

It targets the interpreters on the basis of their specialisation and their knowledge of the customer.

It sends out documents (PowerPoint presentations, speeches, summaries and so on) to the interpreters to enable them to prepare in advance.

It provides the interpreters with any glossaries which it has produced during previous or similar events.

It visits the conference venue so as to decide on the technical layout required and check that any existing installations are compatible with the interpretation equipment.
During the conference :

A team leader is present and in charge of coordinating the interpreters and liaising with the conference organisers and the speakers (so as to obtain any last minute presentations or speeches, or clear up any remaining terminology questions with the experts).

The interpreters change over every 30 minutes to ensure optimum concentration.
