Consecutive interpretation

The interpreter stands/sits on the rostrum with the speaker and translates his comments after he has finished speaking (thanks to high-speed note-taking). Consecutive interpretation is particularly suitable for official speeches, inaugurations and so on. Unlike simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation doubles the length of the proceedings.

Plan on one interpreter per foreign language.
